The feel of the town

Wilton is classic Fairfield County countryside: winding roads, stone walls, old farmhouses and colonials set back on wooded lots. It feels rural, but it isn't remote — Route 7 and two train stations connect you to Norwalk, Stamford and New York City.

Life here centers on family, the outdoors and community. Weekends mean youth sports, the farmers market, trails and the town green. People tend to move to Wilton for space, privacy and schools, and they tend to stay.
