The feel of the town

Greenwich is the first town over the New York line and the largest on Connecticut's Gold Coast. Its personality changes block by block: a busy downtown along Greenwich Avenue, harbor villages like Old Greenwich, Riverside and Cos Cob on the water, and quiet, wooded back-country roads north of the Merritt Parkway.

Life here mixes the Sound and the city. Town beaches, yacht clubs and parks fill the summer, and four Metro-North stations put Manhattan within easy reach.
